Hi my name is Arya!
I am a pup that likes to play in my yard and with my foster siblings. I enjoy my time alone in my safe spaces when I am overwhelmed. I am not vocal, and only recently let my foster hear my bark. I am house & crate trained and have been taught some basic obedience, I know "Stay, sit, come, stop, leave it". Once I feel safe and comfortable, I am the sweetest most affectionate dog. I love to give kisses and hugs and love to be around my humans. I have been working on my leash manners and trusting that the world is not a scary place. Noises still startle me while walking, but it doesn't deter me from continuing on our journey.
My ideal adopter would understand that I am hesitant and shy in almost every new situation, so please forgive me if I run and hide. My ideal home would have a fenced yard so that I can get some safe play time until I get adjusted to a new neighbourhood. I would do best with another confident & independent dog, who can help me navigate, learn and rely on.
