Full Circle Rescue will consider adoptive families in Ontario and surrounding areas. This is simply due to logistics and distance of travel for our volunteers. Our goal is to make the best rescue match taking into consideration the dog's background and your family's needs. Every dog is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when making a furever-home match. We are very careful about the placements we make. We do our best to match the right dog with the right adoptive home because we want this to be the pet's permanent home.
We appreciate you wanting to bring a dog into your home. In order for us to find the right pet for you, we need you to submit an adoption application through our website.
We will review your application upon receipt. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity. An interview is scheduled with qualified applicants & it should be noted that interviews are generally 45-90 minutes in length. This section will also include personal & Veterinarian reference checks.
Once your application review is complete, a Full Circle Rescue volunteer will contact you to schedule a home visit to meet in-person and discuss all-things pet. During the home visit, we look for potential hazards for the dog that the adopter may not have considered. All household members must be present during the home visit. This includes all pets.
Once approved to adopt, the search for your dog begins. Your Adoption Coordinator will begin to evaluate pets currently in our foster care program who may be a good fit for you and your family. We would also be open to discussing dogs in our care that you are specifically interested in.
