Meet Valen! A precious, snuggly and playful boy.
Valen has adjusted in his foster home with great ease, and has been blossoming with each passing day. Valen is an excited boy who loves to play tug of war and fetch. He sometimes gets so excited to play that he will do a little "happy dance" which is sure to bring great joy to all that see it. Valen is a love bug, who will soak up as much love and affection that you give him. He is extremely easy going and will even let you dress him up if you so choose. Can you just imagine this little fluff ball in a rain coat? Or in a Halloween costume? The options are endless!
Due to his energy level, Valen would love to be adopted by an active person or family who will take him on walks and ensure that he gets out his zoomies! Although he is an active boy, he does settle and has spent up to 6 hours alone. Valen is currently crate trained, which is where he happily retreats to for bed time and whenever his Foster is not at home. Valen is also currently eating in his crate as he is fostered with other dogs. This ensures that there are no issues during breakfast and dinner time, and so that all dogs eat their own meals. Valen is currently working on his leash manners as he has been described as a bit of a "Tigger", bouncing and bounding with excitement, but once he settles into his walk he resumes his regular strut. As he is a young pup, he also continues to work on his potty training. He has shown great progress with regular walks and outdoor time.
Valen is currently living in a foster home with other dogs and has shown excellent manners. If there were to be a future fur-sibling in the home, a dog that is eager to play would be the best fit for Valen. He has shown to greet other dogs with a polite bow and a vibrating tail wag, communicating that he is both respectful and ready to play.
