Beautiful Mira, affectionately referred to as ‘Mira Bella’ in her foster home, has been learning to trust and is ready to find her furever home!
Mira is a well-rounded, affectionate, and sociable dog. Mira is initially nervous when meeting new humans, but once comfortable, she happily accepts all of the affection you give her. Mira does well with other dogs and in her current foster home has developed a great playful bond with their smaller resident dog. Although initially weary of larger dogs, she will give space and cues of her uncertainty, and adjusts accordingly with proper time and introductions. One thing that Mira absolutely adores is her “sniffari’ walks! She will follow her nose with all the scents she picks up, and enjoys soaking in all of what Mother Nature has to offer. Mira also loves playing with toys and is learning “drop it” so that she can chase, fetch and continue playing until her heart is content. Mira has also recently been enjoying the change of seasons by chasing and playing with the falling leaves. Mira loves soaking up the sun, and relaxing outside watching the world go by. For her playfulness and her love of outdoors, an adopter with a fenced in backyard would be ideal. Should a future adopter not have their own outdoor space for her, they will need to commit to lots of walks and outdoor time whenever possible.
Mira is both crate and house trained, and was quickly able to communicate her “outdoor” cues to her foster. Although she is crate trained and will happily go in when lured with a treat, she has also shown to be non-destructive in her foster home. Her foster parent has described her as “an absolute dream” and not only does her personality shine, she is also cute as a button.
