Gentle, loyal, and full of heart. That’s Toby!
Toby is a sweet Beagle mix who’s the perfect blend of laid-back and loving. He’s fully potty trained and currently working on his crate training. While he does experience some separation anxiety, he does great when his humans are nearby, and his foster family is helping him build confidence every day.
Toby adores people. He’s wonderful with babies and young children and gentle in everything he does. He enjoys the company of other dogs but isn’t one to roughhouse; he’s more of a calm companion who prefers to coexist peacefully. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet.
This boy walks beautifully on leash, loves to follow his nose, and is happy to match your pace, whether that’s a quiet morning snuggle or a light hike outdoors. He’s food-motivated, smart, and easy to train.
Toby would thrive in a home where someone is around often to help him continue working on his separation anxiety. He’d do well as an only dog or with calm canine friends. He’s affectionate, gentle, and always ready to curl up beside you.
