Roang is an adorable, teddy bear–like pup with a personality to match his looks. At around 2.5 years old and 15 lbs, he’s the perfect small companion who loves being close to his people—whether that’s curling up beside you or happily soaking up affection.
Roang has settled into foster life quickly and has shown himself to be a very adaptable and easygoing dog. He enjoys spending time with whoever is home and has a great balance of playful energy and relaxed, chill moments. One of his cutest traits is the little bounce in his step when he heads outside—it’s guaranteed to make you smile.
He gets along well with other dogs and integrated smoothly with his foster family’s resident dog after a short, thoughtful introduction. He plays nicely and shows good manners during interactions.
Roang is doing well with crate training and is comfortable resting quietly in his crate, including overnight. He’s still working on his house training—he does best with a consistent routine and regular outdoor breaks, and has already shown improvement in recent days. Like many young dogs, he can get excited and may jump a bit, especially around treats or when greeting people, but he’s eager to learn and very food motivated, which will make training fun and rewarding.
On walks, Roang is enthusiastic and curious, sometimes zig-zagging with excitement, but he’s already making progress with his leash manners. He would benefit from continued leash training and basic commands (he’s currently learning “sit”), and he already responds well when asked to go into his crate.
Roang is looking for a home that will continue to guide him with patience and consistency as he grows into the best version of himself. In return, he’ll bring endless love, companionship, and plenty of smiles.
