Cielo is a beautiful 10-month-old pup with a gentle soul and the sweetest, most loving heart. At 26 lbs, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion and still growing into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
Cielo may be a little shy when you first meet her, but behind that cautious nature is a deeply affectionate girl who just wants to feel safe and loved. Give her a little time and patience, and you’ll watch her blossom - her trust grows quickly, and once it does, she becomes incredibly cuddly and devoted. She truly loves being close to her people and will happily soak up all the pets and snuggles you can give.
She thrives on routine and enjoys the simple joys of everyday life. Mornings are her favorite—she wakes up full of excitement, ready to head outside, stretch her legs, and enjoy a nice long walk. After her adventures, she’s content to relax and nap, saving up for another playful burst of energy in the evening before settling in for a peaceful night’s sleep by her foster mom’s bed.
Cielo is learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She is learning to walk nicely on leash and she’s also learning basic commands like “sit,” “leave it,” and “no,” and is eager to keep learning with gentle guidance.
At home, Cielo is a quiet and thoughtful companion. She’s not much of a barker, gets along well with the resident cat, and has lovely house manners. She can be left alone for short periods and rests in her crate.
