Murphy is the definition of an easygoing companion. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being around his people and happily greets everyone he meets.
He’s house trained and crate trained, and he does very well when left home alone. His foster has left him for several hours while at work, and Murphy is perfectly content to sleep the time away. He may bark a little when you first leave, but he settles quickly and relaxes.
Murphy is wonderful with young children and is currently living happily with an 11-month-old toddler. He’s also dog friendly and cat friendly. He lives with other dogs in his foster home and is comfortable around them. He doesn’t typically initiate play, though. He’s more of a happy observer who will watch the other dogs from the sidelines.
Murphy is a lower-energy guy. He loves his walks and is an excellent walker, especially as part of a pack, but he isn’t looking for an action-packed lifestyle. He’d much rather enjoy a nice walk and then come home to relax beside his humans.
He does occasionally bark when he’s excited and wants to play, but overall, Murphy is a calm and easygoing companion.
Murphy is affectionate, social, and loves his people. He’s happiest in a home where he can have a peaceful routine, enjoy his walks, and spend plenty of time relaxing with his humans.
Murphy’s ideal home: A calm, easygoing home that appreciates a lower-energy dog who enjoys walks but is equally happy lounging at home. While he does wonderfully with the toddler in his foster home, his overall personality is best suited to a relaxed household rather than a very busy or highly adventurous lifestyle.
