Hi my name is Andy!
I have been settling in with my foster very well, I am currently an only dog and have yet to meet any little humans. My foster thinks I am a skittish boy and I do take time to open up at first. Don't be fooled by my shy demeanour as I will come to you if you have treats in hand. I am highly food motivated and love feeding time. My curiousness helps me overcome my fears to everything in this big world, I love to sniff and will come to you on my own terms.
I am house trained, but I still have the occasional accidents in a new environment or when nervous in unfamiliar situations. I am working on it! When it comes to crate training, it has taken me time to adjust. I will happily go in to eat my food, but I do get nervous to spend time in there alone. I am also working on it!
My favourite hobbies are to sleep, eat and play with my toys. I am currently working on discovering this big scary world! My ideal home would be with confident adopters that are willing to take me with them on new adventures. I would do fine with a home with cats and kids that understand my nervousness, another confident dog or as a solo pup. I am ready for my forever home!
