Hi my name is Ari!
Ari arrived from Korea a couple weeks ago, she is finally settled into her foster home and learning how to be a dog! Her adopter would have to understand she is nervous and needs help with building her confidence. They will need to continue to desensitize her to new environments. Providing slow and proper introductions to new people and environments is KEY for Ari.
Ari's ideal home would be in a quiet neighbourhood, as a fast paced environment has proven to be very overwhelming. She loves people and adores being pet but needs patient adopters who will let her settle in first. Her foster is sure she would love playing with kids, however needs kids who are older and are respectful of dog spaces. She has shown no aggressive behaviour, however it is necessary for a timid dog like her to be with adopters who understand her body language and provide her space when needed. Ari would make a wonderful companion! She is so sweet, gentle and very loving once she knows she is safe. She is silly and has shown that she is a very curious gal. She has already gained a lot of confidence in a short period of time. Ari is also a great walker and will settle easily for a nap in her bed but would never pass up cuddles/pets from her people!
