Carlitos is a loving and affectionate 10-year-old Bichon mix who thrives in a calm environment. His crate is his castle, and will happily retreat to his favourite place. He enjoys having his own space during mealtimes and prefers being fed in his crate. Carlitos is also crated or kept in a separate room whenever human food is around, as he can be food protective with high-value treats or human food. With consistent training, he’s making great progress in his foster home, and as such would do best in a dog experienced home that will continue to guide him in overcoming these habits.
Carlitos is a real gem overall. He’s super sweet, loves giving kisses, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He enjoys being part of the pack and does well with cats too. Carlitos is fully house trained, however has shown to not be that fond of going out in the snow (who can blame the little guy!).
