Cookie is a sweet happy go lucky pup who loves to be with her people and does well with cats and dogs! Cookie is crate trained and potty trained, but when she does get excited she can tinkle a little bit. Cookie gets along with her foster home's cat and resident dog who she loves to play with and have naps with. When on walks and coming across another dog, she is excited to meet them. She first gets shy when new dogs come close but within minutes she wants to play with them.
As Cookie is young she loves to play with toys and will need someone committed to continuing her obedience training and giving her a routine so she can build confidence. She has not yet learned how to walk up and down the stairs herself, but with proper guidance we are certain she will get there! Cookie does well in the car and has been doing well in a structured routine in her foster home. She can fit through small spaces and so being on leash and ensuring there are no escapable areas for her to get through is VERY important. Cookie would do well as a single or second dog, we would recommend the first dog to be small to medium sized. She loves people (both people she knows and strangers) and is pretty easy going for a small dog!
