Meet Dinora!
Dinora is a joyful and affectionate girl looking for a loving family to call her own. With her playful spirit and gentle heart, she is the perfect balance of energetic and calm. She’s great on walks, where she greets other dogs with excitement (and appropriate doggie manners!) and loves to engage with calm, submissive dogs or puppies. While she may not interact much with dominant dogs, she’s happy to curl up with them on the couch and enjoys snuggling in a relaxed environment.
Dino is an affectionate girl who adores her people, especially when it’s time for walks! She gets so excited she’ll leap onto the couch to grab her leash, practically bouncing with joy. Dino responds to her name and comes when called, especially by her human family. She’s still learning to trust her surroundings and tends to be more reserved when it comes to strangers at home, but once she feels comfortable, she loves snuggling and receiving affection.
She has shown incredible growth—she used to cower at outdoor noises, but now she’s comfortable with most sounds unless they’re sudden or very loud. She’s also been a hit at family gatherings, surprising everyone with how well she adapted, even around new people.
Ideal Home: While Dinora thrives in a female-only home, she’s also learning to bond with men, especially when they’re feeding or walking her. Dino would do best in a home with older children (8+ years) who are dog-savvy and can handle her playful energy, especially when she’s excited or jumping up. Dino can also benefit from the company of a calm, submissive dog, but she would do just as well as the only dog in the home.
Dinora’s Progress: Dino journey has been nothing short of amazing. From spending much of her time in a crate to now confidently seeking out cuddles and affection, she’s blossomed into an incredibly sweet and loving companion. She’s gentle with treats, gives soft kisses, and is always ready for some fun with her favourite people. Dinora’s Background: Kora came to FCR’s care after our most recent spay and neutering campaign in Mexico. She is a puppy of a Momma Dog who was kept in harsh conditions, and was exploited to her sell her puppies. Since she was rescued whilst still young, she has fortunately recovered into a happy life, but the start to her life has made her into a cautious and timid girl.
