Dinora aka Kora, came to Full Circle Rescue's care after our most recent spay and neutering campaign in Mexico. Kora is a puppy of a Momma Dog who was kept in harsh conditions, and was exploited to her sell her puppies. Since she was rescued whilst still young, she has fortunately recovered into a happy life, but the start to her life has made her into a cautious and timid girl.
Kora is a young, energetic dog that has so much love to give. She has taken time to settle into life in Canada but she has come SUCH a long way in her foster home. Kora does not jump into situations four paws in. She will take her time to make sure where she is and who she is with is safe. Kora has shown to prefer females, however with patience from her Foster Dad he is now able to give her pats. Her future adopters will understand that Kora will need time to adjust to life with them, but she blossoms when she feels comfortable and confident. With her safe people Kora is an absolute snuggle bug, and has shown to be a girls girl with her foster mom and sisters.
When Kora gets moving she is an agile, athletic girl. Kora is currently fostered with another dog, and although she would love to be your one and only, she would be able to live with another older or submissive dog as she is not one to engage in playtime. Kora frequently retreats to the comfort of her crate, even with her toys and treats. She spends the day in her crate when her foster parents are out of the home with no fuss and perhaps even slight enjoyment as she gets to be in her favourite place. Kora walks well on leash, and knows commands such as "sit", "no" and "shake a paw". As Kora is a nervous gal, on her walks if there are loud noises, she will cower, but she is easily re-directed. As such Kora would do best in a quiet neighbourhood, and ideally a home with a yard for her to get out her energy and settle into her new environment.
This beautiful girl was lucky enough to be rescued and live a happy life. Can she get another shot of luck and be part of a forever family?
