Happy lives up to her name… she’s a fun, sassy, spunky little pup who brings joy everywhere she goes! At just 9 months old, she’s very much still a puppy: full of curiosity, playfulness, and endless energy. Her foster family likes to joke that adopting Happy is like welcoming a lively toddler into your home. She’ll turn just about anything into a jungle gym and is always ready to party, even if she doesn’t know what for!
Despite her puppy antics, Happy is house-trained, crate-trained, and has already learned so much thanks to her dedicated foster family. She’s still working on things like jumping and leash manners (she can pull when excited), so her forever family will need to continue her training and provide her with structure and routine.
Happy absolutely adores other dogs and does well with dogs of all sizes. She would thrive in a home with a friendly, confident pup to learn from, though she will need slow introductions and patient guidance to build trust. While she plays beautifully, she isn’t a fan of sharing high-value bones or chews, so some management in multi-dog homes will be important. She’s also cat-friendly, making her a great fit for a variety of families!
She doesn’t require a backyard, but she does need daily exercise. Whether that’s a couple of short walks, a good long stroll, or playtime to burn off her energy. With her drive, she’d be a great candidate for fun activities like agility or barn hunt. And once she’s had her playtime, she’s the best little snuggle buddy, curling up on the couch for a Netflix binge.
Oh, and one more thing… Happy has a mischievous side - she’s a proud sock thief! You’ll want to keep an eye on your laundry basket, because to her, socks are the ultimate treasure.
