Say hello to Harmonie! This beautiful brindle girl is a total big baby with a huge heart. She absolutely adores people and greets everyone with a constantly wagging tail, bright eyes, and a heart full of love. She’s affectionate, easy to handle, and always happy to receive some attention. Harmonie is wonderful with people of all ages, including children, and she has also been doing well living with a cat in her foster home.
Harmonie is a medium-energy girl who is fully crate trained and house trained, happily sleeps in her crate overnight, and can relax in it while you’re at work. She knows “sit,” “stay,” and “shake,” and most recently, “focus,” which helps her redirect her attention when she sees another dog and gets distracted. She can be uncertain around some dogs, sometimes freezing up and watching them intently, so she has not yet been introduced directly to other dogs. Harmonie is incredibly intelligent and learns quickly and eagerly.
At home, Harmonie is calm and has a wonderful off-switch after exercise. After her morning walk, she is happy to relax at her people’s feet while they work, with additional walks throughout the day and some evening playtime. She is fully crate trained, sleeps peacefully in her crate, and can comfortably stay there for 3–6 hours. She may bark when excited, during play, or when someone comes to the door, but she settles well once she knows the routine.
She is not food or toy possessive, although she certainly has a big appetite. One thing you’ll quickly discover? Harmonie is a total foodie! She’s not destructive, but she’ll happily investigate anything that smells delicious, so keeping snacks out of reach is a must.
Harmonie would love an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. She is truly a loyal, people-loving companion who just wants to be part of the family. She has so much love to give, and we know her perfect person is out there.
