Hongsik was rescued from a shelter as an 8-month-old puppy. Although Hongsik has only ever known shelter life, and now foster life, he is showing to be a grateful soul who is so happy to be loved and taken care of.
Hongsik is curious, energetic, and full of life. He is an affectionate, and friendly boy with both people and other dogs. When he sees other dogs on walks, he whimpers with excitement to go and meet them, but turns a bit shy during the initial sniff stage. Once he recovers from his first meeting nerves, he quickly changes from cautious to open and can't wait to begin playing. Speaking of walks - Hongsik ADORES being outside and in nature, so his future adopter/s will need to be eager to get in their daily steps as well!
As a young puppy, he still needs consistent training and guidance. Hongsik is crate trained and will spend his day in his crate with the door of the crate open when his foster parent isn't home. He does use the crate begrudgingly, but without complaints, with the support and guidance from his foster. Although currently not fostered with another dog, Hongsik would love to have a fur sibling. If there is no other dog in the home, then having trusted fur-friends to be able to play with would be a bonus for him as he does love the company and play time with other dogs.
Could Hongsik be the adventure buddy of your dreams?
