Meet Injeolmi!
Injeolmi's foster describes her as a sweet, playful, and loyal companion. With a medium energy level, she is just as content playing in the snow with her favorite ball as she is lounging and napping by your side. She is gentle and affectionate, enjoying moments of love and comfort, especially when it helps calm her nerves. Though she’s not a particularly vocal dog, she will make her excitement known when you come home or when she needs to go outside. Injeolmi is also trained on pee pads, which makes her easy to care for indoors.
While she enjoys her playtime, Injeolmi is not the type of dog to bark or cause a ruckus. She has a quiet, calm demeanor but does tend to get nervous at times, especially around unfamiliar situations. Though she is not a fan of being in a crate, she is eager to bond with someone who will offer her love and patience, creating a secure and trusting environment where she can thrive. Injeolmi would do best in a home with a female owner, ideally someone who works from home or is around frequently. She has mild separation anxiety, which is common for her breed, and she may need some time to feel fully comfortable in her new surroundings. Her ideal home is one with calm and understanding adopter's where she can slowly settle in and form a deep, trusting bond with her human.
Though Injeolmi gets along well with cats, she hasn't been tested with children, so a quiet home with older kids would likely be a better fit for her. When it comes to other dogs, she can be a bit nervous and doesn't do well with high-energy dogs, likely due to her own anxieties. However, she might do better with a more relaxed, lower-energy dog in the household. For her safety, Injeolmi should never be off-leash and will require a securely fenced yard for any outdoor activities. She thrives when she has a safe, secure space to play and explore, and a solid fence is a must to keep her safe.
If you're looking for a sweet and loyal companion who enjoys both active play and cozy downtime, Injeolmi could be the perfect match for your home. With some patience and understanding, she will bring endless joy and love into your life.
Backstory: Injeolmi was hospitalized very young after being hurt in a car accident - our rescue partners took her in as she was abandoned by her owner, she was left behind living at the vet for quite awhile.
