Nummu is a young, active and energetic boy who loves to run. Nummu has the best time being outdoors and running circles around his foster parents. He is the happiest when he can show off his speed and get out his zoomies. Although he loves to exercise and is higher energy, he is able to be left alone at home without destruction in the safety of an enclosed room. Nummu is working on his crate training and is fully house trained. Due to his love of exploring, he is walked twice a day, and in the mornings his walk is approximately an hour. His future adopters will need to be committed to an outdoor, active lifestyle with him, and continue to work on his leash manners.
Nummu is currently fostered with the two resident dogs and has adjusted to life with them well. When seeing other dogs on walks, he is excited, but has yet to have the opportunity to meet them on leash. Nummu will bark with excitement when the next door neighbours dogs are outside and show his desire to play. When Nummu is at home, he loves attention and pats, and how could you possibly resist petting that beautiful fur?! Nummu has not been tested with children, and since he is a bit of a bulldozer that doesn't realize his size, but is also gentle giant, he would likely adjust to a home with older dog savvy kids.
