A young, medium-energy, smart, house trained, friendly dog? Need we say anymore?! We don't think we do, but we're going to tell you anyways ;)
Patof originally came to Full Circle Rescue from a shelter partner in Quebec. This fabulous French boy adjusted in his foster home with the resident house cat with ease. Patof - or Hunter - as he is known in Foster - has been working diligently on becoming the shining star that he is. Patof is fully house and crate trained, and as you can see from one picture, he has no problem lounging comfortably in his crate. He also spends his FULL night sleeping and dreaming crated. In the morning when his crate door is open, he takes his time waking up and will grace you with his presence when he has decided it's time to get his day started.
Patof has had the opportunity to meet other dogs both on and off leash, and even had a doggy vacation where he stayed with another foster dog while his foster parents were away. Patof meets dogs with respect and plays well afterwards. Once he gets out his excited playtime and zoomies, Patof is content to co-exist with other dogs without the need for constant interaction. As you can expect from a Hound dog, Patof loves sniffing all the wonderful smells of the outside world. He has been learning and working on "heeling" with success. He also knows many commands including "business", which you can infer what that one means! Patof would do well with an adopter who is willing to continue working on his training, especially on his recall. Patof adores meeting other humans on walks, and will accept any form of pat or snuggle. Due to his age, and occasional zoomie attack, Patof would love to be adopted by a person or family that has a fully enclosed back yard.
