Say hello to Poppy! This easy-going gentleman has been adjusting incredibly well to life in Canada! Poppy is from Mexico and has proven to be a great house guest. Poppy is crate trained and has adjusted to potty training quite well. He is in a home with other dogs and has proven to be the more submissive dog wanting to please the dogs around him, Poppy is fed separately. Poppy has not been in a home with kids or cats.
Poppy's future family will be committed to keeping his regular routine which includes two walks a day. If Poppy does not go on his two walks a day he has shown to have accidents in the home, so it is recommended to keep eyes on him in the house if a second walk is not possible (he has only had accidents while someone is home, but does not when no one is home). Poppy is very food motivated so we don't think teaching him commands would be too difficult, but as his foster says "despite not knowing commands he never misbehaves".
