Hi there - my name is Reika! I am shy and nervous at first, but I am a quick learner who wants to show my people how smart and sweet I am. When my fosters are gone for the day, I love to spend my time chilling out in my crate. At night time, I enjoy relaxing and being close to the people in my home. I was just recently spayed, so my activity has been more limited, but before my surgery I loved playing with my foster dog sibling, playing fetch with my beloved ball and chasing squirrels and birds. I have already learned a lot in my foster home, but I continue to work on my leash manners as I am still a little scared when we go out for walks. I am most happiest with my people and love being pet and having snuggles.
Reika’s ideal adopters will need to have a quiet home and will understand that they need to be patient with her while she adjusts to her new surroundings. They will also take the time to work on building her confidence and her leash manners. Reika will need an adopter who has an enclosed backyard so that she can explore, run and play and learn that the world is not a scary place.
