Meet Seokjin, a sweet and gentle 7-year-old mini Jindo mix who is looking for his forever home. Seokjin may be a bit shy with new dogs and people at first, but with a little time and patience, he blossoms into a loving companion who adores affection and endless petting from his favorite human.
Seokjin is fully crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night in his crate. He walks well on a leash and is house trained. He has been in Canadian foster care for quite some time and has gotten settled in, he is now ready for a permanent home!
Foster Update: It has been 5 weeks since Seokjin has settled with me. His personality has evolved, he is fully potty trained and listens to basic commands such as "sit". He does great on walks and with his leash and enjoys meal time. It is important to note that it will take a couple weeks for Seokjin to come around to his people, but if given the time and patience he will quickly become your shadow! Seokjin, has a hard time meeting new stranger people or dogs. He seems to be frightful so slow introductions and a quiet home is necessary for Seok as he does enjoy his personal space when needed. He will thrive in a home that will understand he needs to come to you on his own terms. We have been working on gradually socializing him in new environments and we can see his potential!
