Meet Sunnam! This little stunner is certain to melt your heart the moment you see him.
In Foster, Sunnam has come out of his shell and been blossoming ever since. His journey started a little slow in his foster home, but with patience, time and a whole lot of love, Sunnam began to trust and will now demand to snuggle in his Foster Parents' lap! Sunnam is cautious with all humans he meets, however has less fear of women. Once you become a trusted person Sunnam will soak up as much love as you are willing to give him. Sunnam has had the opportunity to meet many dogs on walks, and has shown that he will say hello, or give a quick sniff, however seems to be uninterested in any further engagement or playing. If another dog approaches him with a bit too much excitement, Sunnam finds it overwhelming and will run away.
As Sunnam is starting to learn how to be a dog in a home environment - his furever home will commit to future training to build on the knowledge he already has including being house trained, as well as commands "sit" and "paw". They will also be willing to work with him on adjusting to his food habits as he is currently a picky eater. Due to his nervousness around other dogs, Sunnam would be best suited as an only dog. His future adopters will also understand that he will need time to decompress, but once he has, he is a snuggle bug.
If you think you are ready and willing to put the effort into showing this adorable dog a fantastic future life apply to adopt him today!
