Have you ever felt torn between adding a cat or dog to your family? Then meet Willa!
This happy, silly girls’ heart is torn between outdoor adventures and her favourite comfy, cozy chair, where she is the queen of sardonic side eye and very long naps!
Initially, she is shy of new faces, but once comfortable, she blossoms into a funny, affectionate companion. Willa approaches life on her own terms and will require a patient supportive partner. Due to Willa’s extremely calm, indoor behaviour she would be an ideal second dog for someone needing a quiet influencer. She currently lives in a multi-dog household, and although she has not shown any play interest with them as of yet, she does match the energy of the home. Willa is left for full workdays and is completely crate and house trained. She sleeps at night in her comfy chair.
Her ideal home has a fully fenced yard to explore in a quieter neighbourhood and access to the forest life. *Please note - Willa can not live in an apartment or condo. She would make a really cool cross country training buddy! At this time, we are recommending older, calm, children that understand giving space. This girl loves her trusted people and wants nothing more than to be part of your pack and is keen to give and receive love, but is not a needy lapdog, and that will need to be respected. She loves her belly rubs and pets but then returns to her cat life style of napping from her chair.
Willa had a very rough start to life and is looking for a family that appreciates an independent, quiet, calm dog that is not the life of the party. If you think you are ready for easy going cat-dog and have an empty cozy chair apply for Willa!
