Sweet Yuja has been adjusting to life in Canada and is officially ready to embark on her final journey to her furever home. This cautious, timid girl took some time to open up, but with patience (and treats) she has learned that humans provide her with safety, love and attention. Yuja is a cuddle bug that loves being given pats, and starts each and every morning with her foster just this way. Yuja is house trained, and is a food motivated girl showing that she will "sit" and give "paw" when promised a treat in return.
Yuja has been LOVING her first Canadian winter, and happily frolics through the snow. Another thing that Yuja loves is playing tug of war with her toys and her foster. Yuja is working on her leash manners as she gets very excited when taking in all the smells and sights on her walks. When seeing other dogs on walks she does happily bark at them, and wants to say hi, play, and explore.
Yuja will require a patient adopter who will understand that they will need to earn her trust. She has shown to be sensitive to loud noises, so a calm and quiet home would suit her best. Yuja would really love to have a safe enclosed outdoor space to explore and play.
