A massive THANK YOU 🙏 to the amazing folks at @missdixiesfoundation for their wildly generous donation of dog 🐶 and cat 🐱 food! You didn’t just feed pets – you fed our souls.
Thanks to our tireless (and possibly now very tired) Full Circle Rescue volunteers 🚗💼, we hit the road and delivered food to Arthur, Orton, Mount Forest, and surrounding areas 🏘️.
These deliveries are helping families keep their furry loved ones fed and happy 🥰🐕🐈.
This donation is also a game-changer for our heroic local TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) rescuers 🐱 – who’ve already helped over 200 cats and still have the scratches to prove it. Access to food keeps these community cats healthy and the rescuers motivated (and slightly less outnumbered) 💖.
We dropped off a load to the Guelph Humane Society 🐾📦 to support their Pet Pantry Program, which helps keep pets in their homes and out of our pantries. Win-win 🏡💰.
We’re not stopping there! More food is headed to DeMazenod Door and Mission Services in Hamilton soon 🚚 because pets don’t take weekends off from eating (or begging).
And get this…we even hit the highway with a huge haul of food for Wings and New Song Church in Windsor 🙌. It was a bit of a road trip, but worth every kilometer (and snack break). Windsor, your pets are covered!
This is what compassion, community, and an ever-growing number of full pet bowls looks like 💛. We’re beyond proud to be part of this effort and mildly concerned about where to store the next shipment. 😅
